Canción de la Semana: “Ganas de Verte”

This chapter our Spanish one students are learning to use tener + ganas de. This is a great song to use for two reasons:

1. It has a lot of great examples of tener + ganas de. Heck, even the title of the song illustrates this point.
2. It makes kids think outside of the box as to what constitutes Latin music. This music is very Caribbean and has a distinct reggae feel.

I plan on doing a white board activity with this. I might have them list all the ganas de they hear in the song.

Enjoy!
